Founder of Bible Based Community Church in Centralia, IL, Pastor Johnnie Wilson set out to break the mold of past hurts and create a place of worship to minister to people where they are and help them to realize whose they are.
Consecrated by Pastor Bill Winston of Living Word Christian Center, Blessed by the Jesse Duplantis Ministries, and sanctioned by Apostle Barry Chaney of New Life Community Church, the Base is determined to prove thy works by fruits.
Since the birth of the ministry, God has empowered a multicultural, nondenominational work that has ministered all across the states and achieved international recognition through honorable doors opened by Pastor Luis Pascual of Iglesia de Dios Communidad Cristiana in the Dominican Republic.
Pushing for excellence to please Christ, the ministry has become a family affair with son and daughter dynamically spreading the flame of God’s love and purpose.
Along with pastoring full-time the Wilson family also owns the first African American Christian Music Store in the United States recognized by the National Association of Music Merchants. Kingdom-minded and dynamically designed with God’s purpose in mind. Let’s change the world together!
Lady Shenae Wilson
Lady Shenae Wilson is a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and foster parent who loves hard. Anyone who comes in her presence will notice the presence of God. Lady Wilson has been baptized in Jesus Name for 33 years. Growing up in a military family whose grandparents and parents served in the Airforce, Lady Wilson traveled the world while in grade school. While living in Japan for three years, going to church was always an experience. Each Sunday people would attend from all nationalities and lifestyles.
So, when her handsome husband Johnnie accepted the call to pastoring in 2000, she insisted on a church with no barriers. A church that everyone will be welcome from all nationalities and walks of life, the same as she has experienced through her travels.
Lady Wilson has served in many capacities including Sunday school, hospitality committee, Outreach director and others. Lady Wilson alongside her husband pastor Wilson has served the community for 22 years.
Lady Wilson enjoys spending time with family, traveling, shopping, bowling, fishing, walking, and monitoring those in need with the love of the Lord.
